in the Schreiner University Student
Center Ball Room to enjoy the
autumn themed lunch and program.
Together with Trust Financial
Services of Security State Bank &
Trust, the Community Foundation
hosted this year’s event to honor
and benefit the Museum of Western
Art.

this meaningful endeavor benefiting
The Museum of Western Art is in
keeping with the work and vision of
the foundation. We serve the Hill
Country and help donors achieve
their charitable goals for the benefit
of our area,” said Rick McManigle,
Community Foundation Executive

Roy Thompson, of Kerrville.
Roy is the President and CEO of Union
State Bank in Kerrville. He is the
current Chairman of the Kerrville
Economic Foundation; past board
member of the Museum of Western Art;
past chairman and board member of the
Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce;
and founding member of the Young
Men’s Business League. He is a
member of the First United Methodist
Church.
He and his wife, Melanie have three
children.
“Roy will make a wonderful addition to
our board.” Rick McManigle, executive
director, said. “He brings a wealth of
experience from the banking industry as
well as extensive community volunteer
experience to the Community
Foundation.”
