Father Christmas pays a visit
Hamming it up
Visiting with Father Christmas (Larry Geiger) at the Rainbow Senior Center’s Christ-
mas luncheon were, from left, Betsy Loewen, Wanda Cheves (seated), Leona Adams,
Judy Ricketts and Lottie Langehennig.
City of Boerne employees donated enough cash to provide 20 holiday hams and $400 in
cash for Hill Country Family Services to distribute to needy families in our area. Linda
Zartler, administrative services director, and Lori Carroll, senior assistant to the City
Manager, presented the hams and cash donations to the HCFS office manager, Janice
Wheeler, last week. “Many families will be so grateful that City of Boerne employees care
enough to support our neighbors in need,” Wheeler said.
