“Promises to Keep” will be
the theme of Mrs. Alexander’s
talk. She will bring the most
current information based on
her first hand knowledge
obtained on two missions to
Israel and recent information
received from the most accurate
sources.
Because Russia has, at least
for the moment, opened its
doors, more than 125 Russian
Jews are entering Israel each
day. At this rate, it is anticipated
that more than 40,000 Russian
Jews will enter Israel in 1972
plus another 30,000 from other
countries. Housing conditions
reached the critical stage some
time ago. Nothing will solve the
problem but money derived
from the United Jewish
Campaign and Israel Emergency
Fund.
