Miller a member of the firm is in th.
eity and is at the St. Anthony with
his bride whn was Miss Annie G. Stat-

Mr. Miller stated that besides the .1.
O. Terrel] prize herd of Jersey cattle
301 head of the finest registered Jer
set's to l>e found any place and recent
ly bought in San Antonio the company
had added 900 graded Jerseys to the
herd. This gives them a herd of 120 t
head. 1000 of which will always be
milking.
On their dairy rance of 20000 acres
near Falfurrias they have nine dairies
now operating with three more in eon
temptation and the building of a targe
creamery at Falfurrias will make it the
largest Iwiown. It is the intention ot
the company to Interest the farmers ot
that section in cultivating the prieklv

several Jersey cows in connection with
their farms. The penr makes excellent
feed stuff and the farmer can always
find a ready market for his dairy prod-
nets at Hjc Falfurrias ereamery.
At the exposition which will lie held
in Falfurrias December 16 the pick nt
these Jersey cattle will be shown to
educate the farmer in that section t<
the value of this type. Mr. Miller said
the reason for the sigantic scale on
which the Lasater-Miller Jersey Catt*

southwest and they expected to ship |
their products to this city for market
whieh they had already started to do
but not on the scale anticipated.
