Conservation Cartoon Booklets
Being Distributed to Students
Fayette Electric Coopera-
tive, Inc., and the Fayette Soil
and Water Conservation Dis-
trict Board of Directors are
cooperating in the distribution
of an Educational Conservati-
on Cartoon Booklet to grade
school students in the Fayette
Soil and Water Conservation
District, reports district chair-
man A W Fietsam.
Fietsam stated, “The book-
let tells the story of how
different plants serve us in
improving our environment.”
Fietsam continued, “We be-
lieve the booklet has a
message for young and old
alike, and urge the students
receiving the booklets to pass
them on to others after they
have read them.”
“Without the assistance and
cooperation of the Fayette
Electric Cooperative, Inc., of
La Grange, this distribution
would have been impossible,”
Fietsam added.
This booklet is the seventh
in a series of educational
cartoon booklets published by
the Soil Conservation Society
of America since 1955.
