Both were pleased with the climate
of Wichita Falls deeming It admir-
able for the conditioning of their
players. Shay, a veteran player as
well as manager, described himself
as a warm Texas booster for spring
training for baseball.
The Milwaukee officials left last
night for Fort Worth where they ex-
pect to attend the Texas League meet
ing there both for the purpose of
booking exhibition games with some
of the clubs and placing one or two
players of which they intend to dis-
