Brewster County, Greeting:
H. G. Watson, administrator of the
estate of Andreas Rodriquez, dece-
ased, having filed in our county
court his final account of the con-
dition of the estate of said Andreas
Rodriquez, deceased, together with
an application to be discharged from
said administration, you are hereby
commanded that by publication of
this writ for 20 days exclusive of
the day of service and return, in a
newspaper of general circulation
published in the county of Brew-
ster, Texas, which has been con-
tinuously and regularly published
for a period of not less than one
year prior hereto you give due
notice to all persons interested in
the account for final settlement of
said estate, to file their objections
| thereto, if any they have; on or be-
| fore the November term A. D. 1925
of said county court, commencing

of said county in the city of Alpine,

Notice is hereby given, to whom
concerned, that J. O. Wedin, the
postoffice address of whom is Mara-
thon, Texas, did on the 5th day of
October, A. D. 1925, file his applica-
tion in the office of the Board of
Water Engineers for the State of
Texas, in which he applies for a per-
mit to appropriate of the unapprop-
riated waters of the State of Texas,
from the Rio Grande, in Brewster
County, Texas, sufficient water for
irrigation purposes, to be diverted by
means of a pumping plant, said
pumping plant to be located at a
point which bears N. 61°15’ W. 2,-
662 varas from the S. E. corner of
Survey No. 5, on the North bank of
the Rio Grande, in Brewster County,
Texas, and is distant in a South-
easterly direction from Alpine, Tex-
as, one hundred and ten miles.
You are hereby further notified
that t he said J. O. Wedin proposes
to install a pumping plant, to con-
sist of a 6 inch Centrifugal pump,
operated by a Meco 22 H. P. oil
engine, having a height of lift of
twenty-six feet, and to divert there-
with sufficient water for the irriga-
tion of not to exceed three hundred
and twelve acres of land in Brew-
ster County, Texas, fully described
in said application.
A hearing on the application of
the said J. u. Wedin will be held by
the Board of Water Engineers for
the State of Texas, in the office of
the Board at Austin, Texas, on Mon-
day, November 30th, A. D. 1925,
beginning at ten o’clock A. M. at
which time and place all parties in-
terested may appear and be heard.
Such hearing will be continued from
time to time, and from place to
place, if necessary, until such deter-
mination has been made relative to
said application as the said Board of
Water Engineers may deem right,
equitable and proper.
Given under and by virture of an
order of the Board of Water Engin-
eers for the State of Texas, at the
office of the said Board, at Austin,
Texas, this the 6th day of October,

The spooks and ghosts welcomed
a large crowd of merry-makers at
the home of Miss Bessie Granger on
