The.dinner.was fine and in abundance, and
"old Uncle Bedford" deserves praise for the
tfanner in which he "done up" the meats.
(Although men never ate heartier there was
plenty left.
After dinner was concluded, the dance com-
menced, and those rustic beauties went into it
with a life and spirit unequalled, scattering
the jaic-duil in every direction. Nothing more
of much interest transpired.
About 6 o'clock, A. M., we caught our horse,
and with many a longing look in the direction
of the "fair ones'* left them still dancing, and
we learn that the hour 7 next day caught them
in the same JLt. What a jovial set.
We arrived in,the city just in time to wit-
ness the gmiuL spectacle presented by the bon-
fires and various other fire fains in the Main
Plaza.
