an amnesty proclamation, granting
pardon to all deserters, or officers
absent without leave, who shall re-
turn to their commands, or report to
an Enrolling officer within twenty
days from its official promulgation.

That Heavy Rain.—The big
rain on Sunday night, the 26th of
March last, seems to have prevailed

Gen. Wharton was killed at Houston

One hundred dollars reward will be paid
for the apprehension of either of the above

ed bv the commandant of this station.
