THS UNION
FATEST CIRCULAR 1IIILL
Outs from 10,000 to 13^)00 feet of Lumber per day of taelve
Hourt !
WE are at length enabled to Inform our numerous
customers that we have so perfected, by new and
important improvements, the Union Circular Saw Mill,
that we have no hesitation to pronounce it superior to
anything yet offered the lumberman. Strong and well
made, having about doublathe stock of wood and Iron
work in the same class of mill. Our long experience
has shewn us that if we want a first class mill, It can
only be had by a liberal outlay of labor and material.
The guides for carriage are planed, and the rolls turned
into templets that the log is made to move In a true
line, easy and without play. The saw shaft is got up In
the best style, size 3} Inches, with long bearings, so
that we have neither vibration or heating of shaft.
The Improved Head Blocks we have Introduced com-
mand the highest praise of practical sawyers. A large
saving of time with increased efficiency and strength
are combined in this superior Saw JUill. We will not
for fear of appearing extravagant say how much lum-
ber we have cut per hour. If the necesary help to han-
dle a large amount of lumber la present, 1200feet per
hour of Poplar, Pine, Walnut, &c can be cut without
taxing the full capacity of the mill.
In offering these improved circular mUls to the trade
we do not expect to compete in price with other par-
ties who build circular mlllawithout regard to conven-
ience, style or durability. Still we offer them as low
as can possibly be afforded, considering the amount of
labor and material used on them.
The following are our lowest cash prices, which in-
cludes 24 feet carriage and main ~belt, with engines and

The restorative op prop. o. j. wood for
RESTORING hair perfectly and permanently, has
never yet had a rival; to lame after volume might be giv-
en from all parts of the world and from the intelligent
to prove that it is a perfect Restorative ; but read the cir-
cular and yon cannot doabt; read also the following :
tcy* The Baik.—People have for centuries been af-
flicted with bald heads and the only remedy that has been
heretofore known^hasbeen those abominable wigs. By a
Untjfi3fc^vejy~of Professor Wood these articles are be-
ing Cast dispensed with, bat a great many persons still
patronise them because they have been ao often imposed
upon by Hair Tonics of different kinds. To all such per-
soBftwe earnestly make the request, they will try once
again, for in Wood's Restorative there is ño such thing as
fail. We know of a lady who was bald, who used the ar-
ticle a short time, and her head is now covered complete?
ly with the tinniest and most beautifal curls imagina,
ble. We know of numerous cases where hair was rapid-
ly falling out, which it restored in greater perfectionthan
it ever had been before.
It is also without dou c one of the best articles for
keeping the hair in condition, making-it soft and glossy,
romoving dandruff, and has proved itself the greatest en-
emy to all the ills that hair is heir to.
It is the duty of every one to improve their personal
appearance though some may differ in regard to the ways
of doing it; but every one will admit that a beautiful
head of hair, either in man or woman, is an object much
to be desired, and there are no means that should be left
untried t« obtain such a consideration —Woman's Adoj-
c air, Philadelphia.
Coschocton, Ohio, Nov. 17,1855.
O. J. "WOOD & CO —Gent3: As I have been engaged
in selling jour Hair Restorative the last season for one
of your local agents (R. M. Hackison,) and having ex-
perienced '«he beneficial effects of it myself, I would like
to obtain at agency for the State of Ohio or some State
in the West shonld you wish to make such an arrange-
ment, as I am convinced there is nothing equal to it in the
United State*, for restoring the hair. I have been engag-
ed in the Drug business for several years, and have sold
various preparations for the hair, but I have found noth-
ing that restores the secretive organs or invigorates the
scalp as well as yo\rs, being fully convinced that your re-
storative is what y u represent it to be, I would like to
engage in the sale -jfit, forlam satisfied it must sell.
Yours trulr. s. T. STOUKM AN.

FROF* O. J. WOO) & CO.—Gents: Having realized
the good effects of yoir Hair Restorative, I wish to state,
that finding my hair growingthin, as well as grey, I was
induced from what I n d and heard, to try the article
prepared by you, to promote its growth and change its
coloras it was in youtk, both of which it had efffested
completely. In the oferation I have use* nearly three
bottles. Yours truly.
