is rentod; aud any viulation of any obligation of the
renter karein expressed will, at tke discretion of the
Market Committee, forfeit such lease of the stalj nnd
without impairing any other remedy of the city. .This'
resolution will be considere*? a part of the coatract of
leasing said stalls. At the'some time the Marshall
shad rent or let the cleauing and light of the Market
aud the Mayor's Office, to the lowest bidder. Said
Lessee-will be required tó furnish oil and wijtk for the
lamps in the Market and six lamps in.the Mayor's Of-
fice, aud tp keep the same in good order and condi-
tion ; aud to keep those In the Market lighted from
tlark until daylight each night. The meat stalls to be
thoroughly scraped and cleaned avery morning; the
fish stalls to be washed and cleaned at tlie same time,
immediately at the ciosn of the Market. The Market
daily swept and washed at least twice each week, anü
the sidewalks extending around the same und in front,
and in sych a manner as may oc deemed and will j£ive
satisfaction to the city Marshall.
The Market building to'be well white-wáshed (whére-
ever it has been done heretofore,) In April next, and
swept overhead, an# the hall above as often as requir-
ed. The Mayor's Office thoroughly swept every morn-
ing-; the lamps kept trimmed and iigut°d for e

of the President* Amnesty Proclamation, will not be

interested, either directly or indirectly, be receivedy

Proposals must be accompanied by a proper gnar-
antee, signeo by two responsible persons, stating that

ber, 1885; or as soon thereafter as practicable and re-
main in force until December 31, 1865.
