Dirt Broken for the New School
Building.
Dirt was broken Wednesday
for the new $16,000 school build
ing. It had been expected that
work would begin on this build
ing some time ago, and Con-
tractor Williams has been here
with his force for some time
ready to begin work, but on ac-
count of the money stringency,
the bonds could not be placed
for cash and have not been sold
vet, but arrangements have been
made whereby work can go on
and it is expected that the build
ing will be ready for the open-
ing of the fall term of school.
This is going to be one of the
most handsome school buildings
in the west and our people are
looking forward to its comple-
tion with much pride.
