informing the Rev. W. H. Bayliss of his
election as, Chaplain of the Convention, beg
leave to report that they have performed
that duty, and the Rev. gentleman has signi-
fied his acceptance- of the same. Report ac-
cepted. "
Mr. Gregg offered the following resolution:
Resetted, That the committee on Finance
be instructed to confer with sucb committees
as tbe House and Senate may appoint, con-

government may have in possession,
