tlsoi,'íS Turkish Balm,
The only Certain Remedy for Baldness,
and for Preventing and Stopping
the Falling out of the Hair.
AS a Toilet Article, for Beautifying and keep-
.¿"X in the Hair Soft, Gloi-sy, and in a Healthy
condition, it is unequalled. Its positive qualities
are as follows:
1st. It frees the head from dandruff, strengthens
the roots, imparts health and vigor to the circula-
tion, and prevents the hair changing colorL or get-
ting gray.
2d. It causes the hair to curl beautifully, when
re i f in it over night.
This Balm is made from the original receipt,
procured irom the original Turkish Hakim ("phy-
sician) of Constantinople, where it is universally
used. The Turks have always been celebrated for
their wonderful skill in compounding the richest
perfumes and all other toilet articles. In Turkey
the aromatic lterbs, &c., of which this Balm is
composed, are almost universally known and used
for the hair. Henee a case of baldness or thin head
nf hair is entirely unknown in that country. We
wish but one trial io be made of it; that will do
more to convince you of it virtuts than all the
advertisements that can be published, and that all
may be able to test its virtues, it is put jp in

CAN be and has been prevented in thousands
of cases by th:s, nature'sown remedy,
judson's chemical extract of
CHERRY ANO LVSGWORT,
Thismedicine, unlike most of the patent medi-
cines of the day, is the result of the careful study
long xperiments of a scientific and experienced
physician. The two principal ingredients have
long been known and celebrated.
wild cherry bark.
When the strength of this is properly extracted
is the best medicine known for curing the worst
coughs and other pulmanary diseases, it loosens
the phlegm and enables the sufferer to expectorate
easily, and alone will cure the worst cold or cough,
which if neglected always leads to consumption.
lungwort.
This is a plant the virtues oi which are known
to but few. It has been said by the most learned
men of all times, that " nature has provided a
remedy for each and every disease," and the
discoveries that are daily made, go to prove its
truth. Lungworth is doubtless the remedy designed
by nature for consumption. Its healing properties
are truly wonderful, and the rapidity with which
it cures the worst cases of ulcerated lungs, sooth-
ing and subduing all irritation almost immedi-
ately, is a proof of its adaptation to this disease.
These two articles, combined with other purely
vegetable iugredients, form a medicine that is
certain to cure the worst cases of Consumption it
taken bjt'ore the sufferer is entirely prostrated.
I)o not be discouraged, a trial can do no harm,
but will convinte the most sceptical of its reaí
worth.
Thousands ot Consumptive persons have been
deceived repeatedly in buying medicines which
were said to be infallible cures, but which have
proved only palliatives, but this medicine is not
only palliative but a cure for ulcerated lungs. It
ccntains no deleterious drugs, and one trial will
proTe its astonishing efficacy better than any
assertions or certificates in curing consumption
and ail diseases of the lungs and liver, such as
spitting of blood, coughs, pain in the side chest,
night sweats, &c., &c.
Caution.—To protect our own as well as the
interest of the consumptive sufferer, we are oblig-
ed to caution all to find the signature of Com-
stock & Brother on the wrapper, without this.it
is a worthless counterfeit—Remember this
To Oioners of and dealers in Horses.

prepared from the recipe of a very celebrated
English farrier, and ivill cure in ninety-nine
cases out of one hundred any of the above com-
plaints. They have been used by farmers, livery
men, stage proprietors and others, with the most
marked and decided success.
Caution.—None can be genuine unless you find

Azor'a Oriental Turkish Wine,
The great remedy for general debility, weak-
ness, loss of appetite, dyspepsia, billious diseases,
a certain preventive of fevers, kc. This wine
is the most pleasant ftnl effectual remedy for any
n the above complaints, and for many others not
mentioned, that l as ever beeu discovered. It is
so agreeable to the taste that any one taking it
soon prefers it to any wine; while its action on
the stomach and bowels is prompt and efficient,
thus, by keeping the organ in which the basis of
the blood is formed in a healthy and pure state,
necessarily keeps the blood pure and healthful.
It isa stimulant without reaction, unlike all alco-
holic preparations, which leave the partaker in a
state of prostration. This wine sends a gentle
and agreeable feeiins through every nerve, and
its tonic properties are such that it will restore
the weak and aebilitated to their natural strength
and vigor. It is composed of the pure wine of
many ot the most tonic and rare plants in the
Materia Medica, the recipe* of which was ob-
tained from a celebrat< d Turkish " Hakim,"—
physician—and one bottle is equal to any ten ot
sarsaparilla or blood purifier ever before known.
Then give this Oriental Wine a trial; it will
speak for itself better than any recommendation
r certificate, and he who trit-s it ortce will never
e without it. Nothing can equal it as a diet
drink in hot climates or on shipboard, and no
traveler should be without it.

Dr. Jndson's Worm Tea.
A Safe, Pleasant and Certain Remedy.—This
is the most extraordinary remedy for worms
ever used; it effectually eradicates worms from
both adults and children. It cannot harm the
most delicate infant or strongest adult, and never
fails to completely soot out and destroy all kinds
of worms. The cost, 25 cts.. puts it within rench
of all and all parents who are without it are
wantonly exposing the lives of their children to
those fell destroyers of youth, " worms." Look
for the name of Comstock & Brother, proprietors,
on the wrapper of each bottle.

The Washington Remedies*
to planters and others-
HE proprietors of the Washington Remedies
to call the attention of the public to
the wonderful efficacy of these compositions,
which have never yet been known to fail '•
The conviction must force itself upon the mind
of every sentient being, that God. in his mercy,
has provided for every ill a healing balm—an
antidote for each disease. It is well known, too,
that in America have been discovered numerous
herbs of rare medicinal properties; that with the
aborigines were found many curative preparation,
surpassing those hitherto known to the physicians
of Europe. But few. however, of these valuable
compositions were introduced into the European
colleges of medicine, there existing then, as now.
a prejudice against increasing the materia medica
by means so simple. These Remedies, now
offered to the public under the title of the Wash-
ington Remedies, are composed of ingredients,
manv of which are even known to Botany. No
apothecary has them for sale. they are supplied
to the subscribers by the native redmen of Louisi-
ana. The recipes by which they are compounded
have descended to the present possessor. M. A.
Mickleiohn, from ancestors who obtained them
from the* friendlv Indian tribes, prior to. and
during the Revolution, and thev are now offered
to the public with the confidence which has
been gained from a knowledge of the fact, that
during so long a series ot years, there has never
been known an instance in which they have failed
to perform a speedy and permanent cure. The
subscribers do not profess that these remedies
will cure every d if arrangement of the human sys-
tem. but in such as are enumerated below ihey
feel th^y cannot fail. The directions for use have
only to be strictly followed, and however despair-
ing the patient may have been, he * ¡B find cause
for blissful Hope and renewed Ltff.
These preparations are no Northern natenthum-
hug. but are manufactured in New Orleans by a
Creole, who has long used them in private prac-
tice. rescuing manv unfortunate victims of disease
from the grave, after they have been given up by
their physicians as fhcurable. or have been tor-
tured beyond endurance by lacerations and painful
operations.
In proof ofthe unrivaled success of these Reme-
dies. we append the names and residences of a
few from among the many who have been cured
bv their use. It will be observed that our evidence

N. O. Picayune.
Invalids suffering from rheumatism should use
the Washington Remedies.—True Delta.
True Merit.—Patent ' medicines generally are
humbugs, but if true merit exists in anything,
we believe it exists in the Washington Remedies.
—True Delta.
The Washington Remedies comprise four pre-
parations. as follows, viz :
The Washington Rheumatic Ointment.
This rare preparation is used outwardly, in
cases ofGout.RheJinatism,Neuralgia, Stiff Joints,
Caked Breast, Bruises, Sprains, Stiffness of the
Neck, Hard Lumps and Contractions of the Sin-
ews, us well as Inflammatory Swellings of the
Joints, Aches and Pains throughout the body and
limbs. In all instances where external stimula-
tion is required no remedy surpasses this Oint-
ment.
The Washington Internal Remedy.
This composition is purely vegetable. It is
used inwardly for all Rheumatic Complaints of
a chronic or violent nature, at the same time the
Washington Rheumatic Ointment is applied exter-
nally. In cases ot hereditary Gout, it should be
ui-ed in conjunction with the Ointment. When
the limbs have be n paralyzed, or have become
useless, when great inflammation exists i.i the
ioints or limbs, or when excruciating pain and
contraction of sinews take place, a wine-glassful
should be taken every morning, while following
the directions for the application of the Ointment.
Its efficient qualities are so great, yet so pleas-
ing, that a tingling sensation is perceived in a
very short time after the first dose. This indi-
cates that the disease is undergoing a general
breaking-up, and the pain appears to r.in from one
part to another of the body and so coitinues until
it takes its final ltave. If the blool be impure,
the Remedy will expel every pártele of virus,
opening any sores that may be upon the body,
and expelling the corruption thnwgh'them. In
some instances it causes foul and uihealthy secre-
tions to exule through the poresof the skin, and
rapidly exterminates thern, this restoring the
body to perfect health.
The Washington Salve.
By following strictly the directions, the Washi-
ngton Salve will conquer the rf°st inveterate case
of the following diseases. ^ '■ Cancer, Tetter
Worm, Scald Head. Ring Vorm. Whitloe, Bone
Felon, Syphilitic Eruptio sand Ulcers, Scrofula,
Salt Rheum, Leprosy, BoiS, Itch, Erysipelas, Car-
buncles, Piles, Fistula, pmples, Cutaneous Erup-
tions and ulcerated an ' obstinate Sores, arising
from Blows, Burns, Scalds,&c. There is no mine-
ral ingredient whatever in this Salve, and it can
be applied safely upon the raw flesh, without
the slightest fear f injury; for, while it acts with
great power up>n unsound and corrupted parts,
never leaving till every particle of virus is sucked
out, and impurity eaten away, it is perfectly
harmless wken applied to a healthy part. This
Salve, however, is never to be applied to fresh
cuts or wounds.
The Washington Purifier
Is «sed in conjunction with the Washington
salve, in hereditary cases, or those in which the
disease is of very long standing as will be found
intimated in the directions for use accompanying
each jar or bottle. This preparation is warranted
purely vegetable. It eradicates disease from the
system by acting upon foul sections and by purify-
ing the blood. When taken for open sores, it
causes all the impurities of the body to discharge
themselves through such sores, frequently aston-
ishing the patient with the quantity and rapidity
of discharge. This remedy also aets as a eathar-
tic or purgative. While this remedy is being
taken inwardly, the Salve should be applied out-
wardly, so that, to speak in familiar phrase, the
one may push the disease out, while the other
draws.
We would, however, have it understood that
it .s necessary to use the internal Remedies only
in such cases as have defied the skill of physi-
i r have resisted the application of other
i íep.i:.1 ions, or such as are hereditary. In ordi-
nary ■■■>;• the Washington Salve or Washington
Kin ''.Ointment alone will <-ure such corn-
il. R. R.
plaint* as are enumerated under their respective
heads.
Any one may cure himself by using these
Remedies; but persons who may consider them-
selves incurable, or whose servants are incapaci-
tated from labor, and are deemed worthless, will
be guaranteed a cure, and the case treated for a
moderate consideration. In case of failure, (which
we never yet have made,) no compensation will
be required.
The Washington Remedies
for external application are put up in jars a Five
Dollars; in half-jars at Three Dollars. For in-
ternal use they are put up in bottles at Two
Dollars each.

Messrs. Radway & Co.—I feel happy qo say to

attemled by three of our best Physicians. They had

vessel in the body.
Sad cough, hacking dry cough, stitching or
wrenching pains in the side, sudden pain around
the heart, shortness of breath, hard breathing,
sharp pains when taking a long breath, and ali
other painful symptoms, are quickly removed by
a dose or two of the Renovating Resolvent.
We have known persons who have been re-
duced so low as not to be able to speak above a
whisper, who have travelled in vain the tenia*
South and tropics in search of health, without
deriving the same, to be cured by the R- R. Re-
solvent.
BRONCHITIS—SPITTING BLOOD.
In all cases of Bronchitis that we have known
the Resolvent to be used for, it has quickly cured
the patient; it never fails- Likewise in Hemorr-
hage from the Lungs or Throat, R. R. Resolveut
is the most safe and prompt styptic in use.
PHYSICIAN CURED BY R. K. RESOLVENT
AN INSTRUCTIVE CASE.
For two years or more I have had inflamma-
tion in my nose, tonsils and throat. I have treated
it with ¡Sarsaparilla, Arsenic and Iodine for six
months, with perhaps some benefit. I was trou-
bled with a fever in the affected parts, with an
occasional discharge ot mucus. I have used
your Resolvent with the most happy success.
One bottlo did me more good than than the six
months' use of arsenic, iodine, &c. I have now
no further difficulty whateyer, and consider my
self convalescent. I have since cured several
cases ot Gonorrhea, Gieet, Ulcers, &c., with the
R. R. Resolvent. If you will send me down one
liozen bottles I will send you the moeeg by ex-
press. Yours very sincerely,

R. R. REGULATORS No. 2.
A New Principle in Medtcine, never before known or
possessed by any Purgative Cathartic, or Anti-
Bilious Pills in use. The true way to Puri'
fy the Blood. Let all who hate ever
taken Pills read and investigate
the Theory on which Rad-
way's Regulators are
founded.
THE MOST PERFECT PILLS IN USE,
And the only Pills that possess any new medical pro-
perties, or Regulating Powers, that have been
discovered during the present century.
THE action of Radway's Regulators on the
human system establishes a new principle in
medieine, viz : that the blood cannot be purified
by the direct of specific action ot any drug upo
it, as an egg or piece of isinglass purifies our
coffee. We are aware that many learned doctors,
writers on materia medica, and proprietors of
populai medicines, gravely assert ihis doctrine,
and recommend their remedies to possess this
mysterious property of clearing the blood. We
deny that such is the fact, and we assert that no
medicine can purify the blood except through the
medium of the glands, viz: the liver, pancreas,
skin, kidneys, bowels, &c.. which are the sctetrs that
natvre has established for this purpose. Radway's
Regulators exert a controlling influence over
these glands, compensating for any unwarrantable
action or sluggishness on their part, by which the
proper amount of excretions is expelled from the
blood, leaving this fluid in its natural state.
RADWAY'S REGULATORS
Possess another important principle which no
other medicine, in the form of pills, ever yet
possessed, namely: that of leaving the bowels and
all other organ in the system regular and healthy
'—after they Operate. v'
RADWAY'S REGULATORS
Are the most mild, effectual, perfect purgative
cathartic, aperient, anti-bilious Regulating Pills
eve> discovered or gwen to the people. THEY ARE
A GREAT FAMILY PHYSIC FOR GENERAL
BE.
Quick and pleasant in their action,
Mild and effectual in their operation,
Never sicken, Gripe, or Weaken the System,
Elegantly coated with Gum, perfectly tasteless.
They Regulate, to a natural and healthy action
and remove all morbid humors from the
Liver, Bowels,
Skins, Pancreas,
Kidneys, Glands,
Bladder, Lungs,
And purify the blood by Cleansing the Sewers a
the System and Regulating every organ to a naturl
and healthy action. Those who desire health
should search for the proper remedies to aid nature
in ridding their bodies of disease and infirmaties
GREAT MISTAKE OF PILL DOCTORS.
The most popular Pills are deficient in their
composition and medical properties. Manufac
turers of the best vegetable "purgative, or anti-
bilious Pills of the present century, have over-
ooked the most important properties that Pills
should possess, viz., the Regulating powers of their
Pills. No one can enjoy perfect healih unless
each and every organ posess a healthy and natural
action.
THEIR QUICK ACTION.
Radway's Regulator's are prepared on the
same theory as Radway's Ready Relief, to act
quick and to relieve the patient from the distress-
ing ailments that afflict the system immediately.
As soon as the Regulators are swallowed, they
begin their work of regulating the system, and
exercise over the diseased parts a healthy mflu-
ence. If troubled with Coughs, Colds, Influenza,
Sore Throat, Cold in the Head, Hoarseness, take
from two to four of R. R. Regulators, on goingto
btd, aud in the morning all difficulty will be
removed. If troubled with costiveness, indiges-
tion. dise aseof the liver or kidneys, a few doses
of Radway's Regulators will remove the difficulty
and restore the system to order, regularity and
health. Radway's Regulators are pleasant in
their operation, are elegantly coated with gum
never sicken or gripe the patient; they are free
from mercury or calomel, and will surely rostoxe
, the weak and sichly to health andstrength.
THE BOWELS..
Radway's Regulators do not act exclusively on
the bowels by the force of their irritating pro-
perties, but by their regulating effects upon the
liver, pancreas, kidneys, and all other organs in
system, induce a thorough discharge of both bile
and pancreatic juice INTO THE BOWELS, thus
using nature's purgative, viz., the hile and pan-
creatic juice, to operate on the bowels Radway's
Regulators are the only pills in usf that move the
bowels in a natural manner; all other purgative pill
now in use move the bowels by their irritating pro-
perties on the coats ofthe intestines, iu the same manner
that the bowels are moved by the irritation of food
eatn that disagrees with the stomach: all these scour-
ing operations are attended with great pain, and in-
variably leave the bowels costive, and the system pros-
trated with with feebleness and irrescularity.
The following ailments Radway's Regulators
will quickly cure, and free the system from all
Irritating humors,.and leave every organ in the
body in a natural and healthy condition:
Costiveness, Constipation of the Bowels,
Biliousness, Inflammation of the Bowels,
Dyspepsia, Inflammation of the Kidney*
