all right, she began to look more like
herself. and is now in first rate health,
and as smart as possible, and a most:
energetic girl, but a terrible temper, tho
I think she will control it after a while.
Mrs Atwood is most anxcious to learn when
Mr Harwood will be along here, and what
part of business they are in, that she may
write to her. Jimmie has got his well finished
and expects to get into his house first Aug.
Your Aunt Anne has not returned,  her three
children are still here, and Charlie is sick
now with chills. I have no idea when she
will be back, for I expect Arkansas river
is very low. Your Uncle John is a long ways
too clever a man for her. David, Frank wishes
to write to you & that you may be kind friends
as well as brothers here after, he regrets extremely
the disagreeable letters that passed, and when
he writes be sure and answer his letter
in all kindness, now dont hint at his intention
for he has only mentioned it to me, and has
no idea that I have mentioned it to you.
I want every inducement offered to take him
to Texas, for his health will never stand
this climate, and if he will go there I will.
he has but little constitution, but is a man
of principle, and a good son, tho rough
in his manners & letters, wishes to do right.
