going to continue. Thought and imagination go up as high as

even too hot fór a Racket Store man to hang out his sign—all on
the great principle of underbuying and underselling, which we
carry out in the fullest meaning every day in the year.

NOTES ON THE SHOOT
Dr. Butler as oOcial referee and
Jack Higman as scorer gave entire sat-
isfaction to both teams.
Dr. Horace Beaatrunk was present
and kept the Orange men posted on
the scores at every satge of the shoot.
Cap and Charlie Futch are taking
great interest in the contest and do
mupfa to encourage the team by their
presence every shoot
The conditions for shooting yester-
day were all that could be desired*
There was no wind at all and the tar-
gets were flying high. .
Horace Bland, the heavyweight
member of the Orange team, had his
shooting clothes on yesterdsr and sac-
ceeded ip pulverising 82 of the flying
targets
F. H. FarwelL the genial manager
of the Lutchor A Moore Lumber com-
pany, accompanied, the team yesterday

The Orange team an a whole te Im-
proving in its work, each man having
Improved his score over last week.
The team average In the first shoot
was 80 per cent, and in the second was
85 3-B per cent. The Beaumont team
also shows a big improvement, having
increased their team Average froto 72
to S3 per cent.
A glance at the score shows that
Cates Ford is still shooting a steady
fcalt. not making any stertlMg
straights like Mr. Jones, but keeping
the Orange Gun club will then have
the best shooting grounds in the State.
Mr. Jonen, tbe new acquisition to
the Beaumont team Is a dangerous
opponent to any member of the Or-
ange team He uses a Winchester
pump gun and handles it like he Js used
to It. He is evidently an old hand at
the business and when It comev to
smashing bluerocks—wall he, has ev-
idently had experience at the game be-
fare. To eee him about over a trap
one would think thai be had made a
buslnesi. of It. However. A. L. Mitch-
ell. of tbe Orange team, was change
for Mr. Jones yesterday.
