Additional historical information: The current address of the bank is 100 E Main Street, Trinidad, Colorado. Trinidad, Colorado is home of the Oliver E. Aultman Photography Studio which opened in 1890. Using glass plate negatives and, later, film, Mr. Aultman made studio portraits of thousands of southern Colorado residents. Oliver E. Aultman is the brother of Otis Aultman. Otis Aultman left Trinidad in 1909. He was later employed as a freelance news photographer and became known for his images of the Mexican Revolution in and around the El Paso, Texas area.

Text of correspondence: "Dear M & F: Suppose you are at home by this time M- and that Florance and the children had a good time. Glad you shall leave tomorrow for Pueblo, Colo.Spgs. and Denver. Yours, Walter."
