Edward returned from his exile no fff wiser + a heap wores boy than when he left. He is now clerking for Ba 1. His clerks- =ship may last till the middle of ne week. The friends are in good health. Cowna + Julia have both had falls off wagons lately which hurt them some but not seriously. Julia has not got your letter yet. I reed and answ= =ered a long letter from Rowland + hope for another from him soon. Ive a letter from Will Low of July 14th. His health was improving.
