Sales of PonMacs and Tempests
lin the first half of 1M64 were at an
all-time high, surpassing any pre-
vious six month period in Ponti-
ac's history.

vice president and divisional
general manager, said a total of
33H.326 cars were sold from Jan-
uary 1 through June 30, surpass-
ing by 22 per ecnt last year's re-
cord of 318.882 cars.
He a'so announced that June
sales totaled 67,109. This, he
pointed out, wa^ the eighth
monthly sales record for Pontiac
Thursday, Friday and Saturday
