Texas Water Commission will meet in
Room 118, Stephen F. Austin Building,
1700 North Congress Avenue, Austin. Ac-
cording to the agenda, the commission will
determine whether a temporary order
should be issued to the City of Hallettsville,
P.O. Box 247, Halletsville, Texas 77964-
0257. The order, is issued, would authorize
the city to discharge partially treated do-
mestic wastewater effluent at a volume not
to exceed 330,000 gallons per day average
from its wastewater treatment plant located
on the east bank of the Lavaca River, ap-
proximately 1,000 feet downstream from
the U.S. Highways 90-A and 77 bridge
across the Lavaca River in the City of
Halletsville, Lavaca County. The effluent
is to be discharged into the Lavaca River,
Segment 1602 of the Lavaca River Basin.
Authorization for discharge pursuant to the
order is to expire on the 30th day of dis-
charge, or on April 30, 1989, whichever
occurs first.
