The home was. decorated with
bouquets of mixed spring flow-
ers. On the table, the place of
each of the girls of the wedding
party was mailed with a small
picture, of her bridesmaid's dress
sketched by the honoree. The
honoree's place was marked with
a drawing of her wedding dress.

To Meet Monday
The Zemma Hare Union of the
North Orange Baptist church will
meet for a class part.y on Monday
night at 7:30 o'clock in the home
of Mi's. A. Headrick, 190+ Tenth
street. Officers will be elected (or
the coming year. All members
are urged to be in attendance.
Methodist Easter
Morning Service
To Start At 10 :25
The morning service Sunday at
the First Methodist church is le
start at 10:28 o'clock instead of the
usual hour, it was announced to-
day. .The choir under direction
of Mrs. Jack Bailey will sing
"Allelulia, Christ Is Risen" (Ko-
polofT X an Easter song of Rus-
sia. During the morning service
there will be baptism of babies,
Communion and an- Easter ser-
mon by the pastor, the Hp v. Wal-
ton Gardner.
A program of Ea.<ter music '/ill
be given by the choir on Sunday
night beginning at .eight o'clock
in the church auditorium with
Mrs. Bailey directing and( Mrs.
John Y, Bell at the organ. Easter
Allelulia by Heyser-Nolte will l}e
sung by the choir and "The Holy
City" by Johnson will be a vocal
solo by Mrs. Bailey. Soloists will
be Miss Francis Withers, Miss
Marcelle Ramsey, Miss Mickey
Thomas, Bryan Baker and Max
von Schriltz.
A nursery for small children
will be in the church basement
during both the morning and the
evening services.

Missionary Sbciety met for a so-

tional after which refreshments
were served. The remainder of
the afternoon was spent in visiting
people of the community.
Next Thursday morning at nine

"Reality" Is the subject of the
Lesson - Sermon which will be
read in all Churches of Christ,
Scientist, on Sunday, April 1.
. The Golden Text ' "Thy
throne, O God. is for %ver and
ever: the sceptre of Thy kingdom
i.s a right sceptre" (Psalms 45:8).
Among the citations which
comprise the Lesson - Sermon is
the following from the Bible:
"My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my
heart, and my portion forever
(Psalms 73:20).
The Lesson - Sermon also in-
cludes the following passage from
the Christian Sciences-textbook,
"Science and Health with Key to
the Scriptures" by Mark Baker
Eddy: "Reality is spiritual, har-
monious, immutable,' immortal,
divinei eternal. Nothing unspirit-
ual can be real," harmonious, or
eternal" (page 335).
The Christian ■ Science society

morning at 9:45 o'clock and is fol-

CIRCLES HOLD MEETINGS
Three circles of the First Meth-
odist Woman's Society of Chris-
tian Service met in separate ses-
sions on Thursday afternoon.
Circle One met at three-o'clock
at the church with fifteen mem-
bers attending. Mrs. Nellie Long
had charge of the lesson on "The
Philippines", which was the con-
cluding chapter pf. the mission
study book. The program closed
with a short Easter prayer aer-
vice. ■ ', ■)
Circle Two met at three o'clock
in the home of Mrs. j. B. Sanders
with nine members attending.
Mrs. Charles Cottle , had .charge
of the mission study and Mrs.
Ernest Cottle read the Scripture
lesson.' It was decided that the
next meeting would be with Mrs.
W. B. Simmons on.Thursday af-
ternoon, April 12.
Circle Four met at 3:45 o'clock
in the home of Mrsv R. E^ Belile
with Mrs. J. B. Selman as hos-
tess. Eight members were in at-
tendance. Mrs. W. C. Griggs pre-
sented the Bible lesson. During
the business session it was de-
cided that the next home meet-
ing would be held with Mrs. Del-
bert Nantz on Thursday, April 12.
Next Thursday afternoon at
three o'plock the circles will meet
together at the church for the
monthly general meeting. A full
attendance is urged.

which were followed by a general
discussion of the "entire book.
During the business session it
was voted to buy a sign for the
church to be placed on the par-
sonage lawn. The society finish-
ed paying its pledge to the Cru-
sade for Christ. Mrs. E. C. Swit-
zer was appointed'by Mrs. R. Lee
