squads, is suffering from leg cramp that overcame him halfway
home in the 220 at Austin last Saturday. Wolcott is bothered slight-
ly by sore leg muscles that kept him from giving Louisiana's

ternoon, with several players appear-
ing on two teams. Encouraged by
their defeat of the Cadets, third win
of the current season, the Owls were
hustling all over the diamond in the
long drill. A lighter workout Wed-
nesday showed concentration on the
fielding difficulties that have been a
constant handicap.
"Slide-Rule" Heidler was being
worked constantly in order to have
the big hurler ready for relief ser-
vice in the weekend series if and
when Bear batters show symptoms of
the batting power that gave them ah
easy win over Rice here three weeks
ago in the rain.
Grigg indicated no change in the
present batting order, which has
Speedy Moore in the lead-off posl-
tion, followed by Arthur and Frank
Carswell, and J. P. Wood in the
clean-up spot.
