On the completion of tho reading, tho Sen-

"the sovereign Cortes of Spain." Sen or

to tho chair, and in a brief speech declared
himself ready to answer for the preserva-
tion of order and tho execution of the de-
crees of the sovereign power/ ■ A vote was
taken on the question of accepting with-
out disciision the abdication of Amadous,
and it was accepted unanimously. A
committee from tho members of Congress
was then appointed to draft a reply to the
message, and another commission to ac-
company the king to the frontier. Senor
L'io then proposed a resolution establish
inga republican government, investing
tho Assembly with tho supremo power.
The resolution was adopted by a vote ot

was still in session when tho foregoing
was telegraphed from Madrid.,

of Kentucky, Alabama, North and South

tion of the United States military forces

at other points, where the interest of the
government in ty require their jiresenco.
It is learned that there are no troops now
under order for service in Utah, and it
does not appear that tho department im-

Why Endure What is Curable?
"What can't be cured must l e endured," says
tho proverb; but indigestion can bo enred, and
therefore it is the merest stupidity to enduro it.
Dyspeptics lmvo certainly n right to continue
dyspeptics to the end of their days if tliey clioose
but as it is not supposed that any rational being
prefers physical torment to ease and health, tlio
probability is that if all sufferers from indigestion
were convinced that an absolute, infallible remedy
for their complaint existed, they would with one
accord resort to it. We most emphatically declarc
that such a remedy does exist, and that its name
is Hostetter's Stomach Bittters. Tho record of
its success extends over a period of more than
twenty years, and it is fearlessly allcgod that
d iringthe whole of tliat thno it lina never failed
to afford permanent relief in any disorder or do
rangemcnt of the stomach that was not organic*
malignant, and incurable. The testimonials that
go to establish this important fact enn bo counted
by thc thousand. Stomach complaints that had
been aggravated by a total disremnl of all dietiiry
rules, and intensified and rendered chronic by
medicinal treatment or drastic purgation, have in
hundreds of instances been cured within three
months by tho systematic use of this celebrated
stomachic and alterative. It should be remem-
bered that weakness of tho digest ivc organs ih-
volvcs many other ailments. Biliousness, liead-
iiclie, nervous debility, spasms, palpitation of tho
heart, rush of blood to tho head, nausea, vertigo,
and sleeplessness are nmontf its concomitants and
results ; and for all these the great vegetable tonic
is a specific. It acts first upon tho stomach, and
through tho stomach upon thc secretory and ner-
vous systems and tho bowels, its general effect be-
ing always genial and bencllccnt.
