A Letter in Rhime
Crosbyton,
Dear.Santa:
Dec. 18, 19.;:
I am an awfully good little girl Mrs. Edgiar Allen Sr.
in the sixth grade at school.
I always mine the teacher and
never break the rule.
1 want nothing for myself al-
though I'd like some skates.
But here's some things I'm ask-
ing you to bring my classmates.
Please, bring Hubert Turner
a great big nice red ball;
And little- Melba Marsh would
like Gene Ellison most of all.
And listen, now Dear Santa, and
please don't think this shocking
But Gene would like Melba in
his Christmas stocking.
And then James, Johnnie, Louio
and Loyd all like about the same
You might be nice <tnd bring
them, a little Cho-Cho train.-
There's La Vern, Eloetia, Gyife'lla
and Alma Jean Vho don't care
much for boys;
So make- it e&ay on yumaelf and

One girl doesn't have a heart,
She's Billie Marie Newman;
And for thiJL^istmas, Santa. I
think she'd like something human
Juanda Jim is my sister and
don't you think it jolly.

If you don't filL his stocking up
