Castañeda states that he will send a revised copy of a LULAC resolution and a copy of a speech he made in El Paso. He requests Herrera to tell whoever has complaints of discrimination in employment, classification, or promotion in Houston to write to Castañeda directly of their case, or to Herrera can forward them to Castañeda. Includes LULAC resolution titled, "One for all and all for one."

Letter from John J. Herrera to Carlos E. Castañeda acknowledging receipt of the revised text of the FEPC resolution. Herrera covers the occasion honoring Fernando Salas, the first Latin-American to serve on a Harris County Grand Jury, and a meeting with the new members of LULAC.
