Eight new patients were treated
this week at Crosbyton Clinic
Hospital for Trachio Bronchitis,
and the epidemic does not Seem to
be abating at the present. All of
the patjents**"*to"date have been
cured rapidly and most of the fol-
lowing have? been released: ^

medical treatment for two days.
Mrs. Ira Benton was treated for
influenza from Sunday through

Mrs. B. G. Mayo was received
Monday as a medical patient and,

ported to be improving.
John Darthand, of Ralls, was

mer Crosbyton resident, \yas-the
guest of relatives over the week-
end. Mr. Smith recently purchas-
ed a barber -shop in Brownfield
and moved there from Slaton
where he had been for several

HOLD CONFERENCE
FOR EVANGELISM
A state-wide Baptists evangel-
istic conference designed to give
inspiration and aid to churches in
planning simultaneous revivals
Will bring an estimated 2500 pas-
tors, singers, and evangelists ttr
Dallas January 12-14.
Inaugurated by tne department
of evangelism of the Baptist Gen-
eral Convention of Texas last
year, the program of simultaneous
evangelistic campaigns has now
been adopted by all the states of
the Southern Baptist Convention,
Dr. C. Wade Freeman, Texas e-
vangelism supejintendent, • said.
He explained the program as a
series of simultaneous evangelistic
meetings held in all. the churches
of a Baptist association, which
usually include one or more CQufw
ties.
The Dallas conference, which
