Broadway News
By Mrs. T. E. Thornhlll
These chilly mornings are just
a gentle reminder of winter. We
always enjoy the fall weather,
all except the high wind, but"!?
I remember right, we've had
those the whole year. But after
all, it couldn't possibly be nice
weather all the time, so let's just
enjoy each day to-the-fijllest, be-
cause as we know we can never
call yesterday back.
There was a house full to see
the pictures and hear Dr. Malone
of Lubbock talk on the Holy
Land at our church last Sunday
~ night. We eertainly-enjoyed ev
ery bit of it.

If you would like to* see some
good dry land cotton, drive over
to Floydada and have a look at
the R. M. Spence cotton crop just
at the east and north edge of
the city limits. It really is good
cotton.
