Elects Officers
The Sew-Moi Club met- on
Friday, April 10, in the home of
Mrs. Sue McMahon. A business
meeting was. held and officers
were elected" for a new year.
Ann Fisher was elected pres-
ident; Betty Cocke,, vice-presi-
dent; Joy Jackson, treasurer and
Betty McGinnes, secretary-repor-
ter.

The 19th annual Stockhold-
ers' meeting of the Lubbock Pro-
| duction'Credi^association is to
be held in the-S^JL. Slato'n Jun-
ibr High school auditorium in
Lubbock Saturday, Apui 25. Re-
gistration will begin at 9 a.m.,
and the session will start at 10

From 1200 to 1500 stockholders
and guests are expected to at-

tral office building of the asso-
ciation at 3702 Avenue Q will be
held in the afternoon.

Workers Plan
Adult Visits To
Children's Dept. 1
Several plans for the coming
months were made at a Chil-
drens' Workers Conference held
at the Methodist church'Thurs-
day ..night, April 9, with Mrs.
Herbert Hoover, superintendent
in charge.
On two Sundays, April 26 and
May 3, parents and other adult
members of the Sunday - school,
have been invited to visit * the
children's classes, including the
nursery, kindergarten, primary
and junior, to acquaint them-
selves with the work that is be-
ing done in these classes.
^On Thursday, April 23, a sub-
district Vacation Training school
will be held in/the local church,
beginning atSiQ a. m. and ad-
journing at 3 p. m. The noon,
meal, for which 75 cents will be
charged^ will be served at the
church. • y
Dates for the annual Vacation
Church school have been set for
the first two weeks in June.;
Saturday, April 18, from 4 to
6 O'clock, has been set as Clean-
up Day in the^children's depart-
ment. - . ; ~
A Christian Education Labora-
tory/ school will be held at St.
Paul's Methodist church, Abilene
from July 6 to 10, to Which both
„parents'and. children are invited.

in urging attending at the Abi-
