BAPTIST CHURCH NOTES
Theo. A. Binford, Pastor.
Last week was a great week
with us. Our prayer meeting
room as filled with earnest
souls on Wednesday evening,
and we had a most gracious
service. Our people show
evidences of a revival in their
hearts.
Thanks are hereby publicly
expressed to Mr. C. V. Weir for
graciously putting a telephone
in the Baptist Booth during the
recent Pure Food Show. It
was a distinct service to the
people, and added attractive-
ness to our booth.
Last Sunday was one of the
biggest days we have had re-
cently. There were 204 in Sun-
day School, actually reported
by the secretaries. Others al-
ways come in after these re-
ports are made up, as they are
made in the very beginning of
the class period. A very fine
spirit prevailed in the school.
The most enthusiastic depart-
ment of the school at this time
seems to be the Senior depart-
ment These young people are
planning some things that arc
worth while. We are for them.
Every department is showing'
new life. Watch for big things'
from us.
The morning preaching ser-
vice was well attended as the
pastor preached on "Justifica-
tion by Faith." Rom. 5:1. It1
was a most gracious service. I
We have a very fine group!
o<f young people and they are !
doing fine work in their ser-
vices. We have three thriving
