GOING FORWARD!
It has been my pleasure to have been a citizen of Jefferson and Marion
County for over a year. In that time many changes have taken place
and with the oil running into the b g tanks of the P1TZW 4TER-
W EBB-TERRY NO. 1 and its purchase by J. D. Reynolds, one of the
largest independent oil operators of the South, as well as the entry
hiri of Al Sutton and Eli Howard and many others, it is easy to
predict a happy future for the p20pie of this town and county.
Let's start now to make rapid strides forward by developing our oil and gas — our iron
ore cs well as stock raising and agricultural advantages.
W/e :arit stand still—we must either go forward or backward, and no one desires to re-
turn to ox-ccrt days.
Altogether for a bigger, better and more prosperous Jefferson and Marion Countyu
