tral Christian Church in Min-
eola attended the convention of
the Christian Endeavor at Pales-
tine last week-end.
Representing the local church
were the Rev. George Cherry-
homes, pastor, Bob Browning,
John Bass, Mrs. Louise Wells,
and Miss Nelwyn English.

lock, secretary; Mrs. L. D. Les-
ter, treasurer; Mrs. J. W. Roth-
well, historian, and Mrs. C. D.
Coleman, parliamentarian.
The Rev H. M. Ward, pastor
of the First Baptist Church,
addressed the gathering on
"Our Country."
The new officers will be in-
stalled Tuesday afternoon, April
23, by Supt. B. A. Copass in
a ceremony at the ward school.
Ward School P-TA officers will
be installed at the same time.
