Their only attendants were Mr.
and Mrs. James Grammer. Mis.
Grammer wore a suit of military
blue with pink carnation corsage.
Mr. Williamson is engaged in
pulpwood business and Mrs. Wil-
liamson is employed with the
Travis & Vander Meer Locker
Servicfc. They will make their
home in Rusk.
THALIAN CLUB
Mrs. James Lawrence and Mrs.
Grady Ellis were hostesses to the
Thalian Club Tuesday afternoon
at the home of 'Mrs. A. S. Moore)
As the guests assembled they
were invited into the dining room
where Mrs. James Fitts presided
at the punch '.bowl. The table was
laid with a white cloth and an ar-
rangement of spring flowers was
used as a centerpiece.
Mrs. Ralph Benton .presided at
the business session. Tentative
plans were made by the club for
a buffet supper to be held at the
Home Economics building in the
near future.
Mrs. Cullen Sherman and Mrs.
W. R. Latson were elected dele-
gates to the Texas Women's Fed-
eration Convention in Greenville
March 27 and 28.
Speaker for the afternoon was
Mrs. E. C. McLeod, who gave a
most interesting discussion of
Pictures'. Picture reproductions
by some of our most noted paint-
ers were discussed and passed for
study by the guests.

C. C. Sherman entertained Wed-
nesday afternoon with a tea at
the Alvin Sherman home, compli-
menting Mrs. Ray Sherman of
Lufkin and Mrs. Carl Sherman of
Houston.
The living rooms were decorat-
ed with Kinff Alfred daffodils and
pussy willow. The table's center-
piece was white stock and daffo-
dils in cut glass with crystal can-
delabra on a mirror plaque.
Miss Jessie Boone was at the
register. Mrs. Joe Copeland pre-
sided at the tea service. She was
