Digitized as part of the North Texas History Harvest, held November 2, 2013 at the MLK Jr. Rec Center in Denton, Texas.

Fred Douglas School had an active chapter in the New Homemaker's of America, and the girls had attended a leadership contest on March 5, 1948.
