Bobysculpture: Weight Training for Women by Valerie & Ralph Carnes
With the swimming
season right around the
corner, you may be
interested in shaping up,
and weight training is
without a doubt the
fastest, most efficient
way to burn fat, shape
the body and build
stamina. And Body-
sculpture presents a
new, convenient and
strikingly simple system
of weight training for
women that can really
help you to feel better all
over and to look better in
the right spots.
Bobysculpture knocks
down those familiar
myths about weight
training-that weight
lifting is only for men,
and that working with
weights produces
bulging muscles in
women. Women's bodies
simply do not work that
way. What Bobysculp-
ture means for women
is: getting rid of fatty
weight, trimming down
waist and hips, main-
taining health, and being
able to wear what they
like-all in the shortest
time and at the pace
right for the individual.
The way Bobysculp-
ture improved Valerie
Carne's appearance and
changed her life should
be an encouragement for
any woman. At 5'6" and
175 pounds, Valerie wore
a size 16. She was
frustrated with fad diets,
didn't want to dedicate
her life to exercise and
was desperate to start an
effective weight-loss
regimen that would take
off inches as well as
pounds. Shortly after she
began her Bobysculp-
ture program, Valerie
lost three inches from
her waist, three inches
from her thighs and nine
inches from her hips.
Today Valerie is a
slender 110-pound size 4.
