BREAD
SWAB
THE DIAL
One of the worst dust-
catchers around the house is
the telephone dial. Yet,
because you use it so often,
you do want it to be fresh
and clean. When the tele-
phone dial begins to look
grimy, clean it easily with a
cotton swab . . . the kind on
a little stick. Dip the swab in
hot water, touch it to a bar
of soap, and — presto! The
dial is clean as quickly as
you could dial the number
of your best friend.
HOURS FRESHER
More than three billion Christmas
cards were sent last year.
'Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure
myrrh 5p0 shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much,
even 250 shekels, and of sweet calamus 250 shekels,
after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil an
hin: and thou shalt make it an holy ointment, an oint-
ment compounded after the art of the apothecary."
This reference to the ancient and honored profession of
Pharmacy is in the Book of Exodus. Today—as in biblical
times—the Apothecary is entrusted with the compound-
ing and dispensing of medicines—and into every pre-
scription we fill go the fullest measures of professional
skill and integrity handed down through 4,000 years of
Pharmacy and its service to mankind,
