A blue and white <olor theme
was used throughout the hall.
The bride's book, in which
about 35 quests registered, was
presided over by Miss Benigna
Kalina. The register table was
laid with a white linen cloth.
Upon entering the honoree
presented a yellow corsage.

On a table nestled in red net
was a beautiful one layer cake
frosted in white and decorated
with three large bells edged
with silver beads. Red roses,
green leave* and silver beads
completed the cake. In the cen-
ter the words "Olga and Ber-
nard" were inscribed in red.
Helping the bride-to-be in
opening her many lovely gifts
were Beatrice Migl, Mrs. Mar-
vin Zemlicka, Dolores KJesel
and Marcella Cunda, who reg-
istered the gifts.
After Miss Jasck opened her
gifts she expressed her gra-
cious thanks and also invited ev-
eryone to attend their wedding
Mass which will be held on
Monday, October 17, at the I'ra-
ha Catholic Church.
The hostesses' gift to her was
a 7-piece beige dinette set.
Lunch was served, consisting
of chicken sandwiches, cake,
potato chips, pickles, mints and
tea.

The sixth annual Ahrens re-
union will be held here on Oc-
tober 16 in the Knights of Co-
lumbus Hall.

Mrs. John Hajek of Praha is
in the Weimar Hospital. She
bad a light stroke Friday.
Mr. an-J Mrs. George Voldan
and family of Sealy spent the
weekend with Mr.- and Mrs.
Frank Voldan Sr. and John.
Some old pictures of the El-
ders Ahrens clan will be on hand
for all to see and there are
still some of the Ahrens Fam-
ily booklets on hand.
Army Cpl. Vastine R. Frietsch,
son of Mrs. Mary Frietsch, Rt.
2, Schulenburg, recently was
assigned to the 10th Artillery
et Fort Benning, Ga.
Corporal Frietsch is a gun-
ner in the lOth's Battery A. He
entered the Army in 1948.
