Thursday's schedule finds 8
games on tap beginning at 9 a.m.
with the losers bracket and con-
cluded with the final game at 8:30
p.m. Friday only four games are
scheduled with the consolation
games set for 2 and 3:15 p.m. with
the winner's bracket set for 7 and
8:15 p.m. The finals begin at 6 p m.
Saturday with the tournament
champion to come out of the final
game at 8:30.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Erdle went
to Tennessee for Christmas.

driver's license. And, driving into
a congested traffic area or area
where pedestrians are congregated,
without sounding a proper warning,
or at a speed in excess of ten miles.
Penalty for first conviction of
reckless driving is a fine of $25 to
$200; second conviction fine, $50 to
$200. Upon third conviction the fine
wall be from $75 to $200, and a
complaint will be filed with the
State Department of Public Safety
requesting the permanent revoca-
tion of the driver's license.
The law to regulate noise makes
it unlawful and a public nuisance
for anyone at a public place of
business to make any loud noise
which could disturb the peace of
others in the vicinity, providing
that any such noise between 11 p.m
and 6 a.m. "which can be heard off

Calls Meeting
CEDAR HILL
A meeting has been called for
Friday night by the Cedar Hill
Citizens Association, announced I.
B. Clark, chairman.
The meeting will be in the school
gymnasium at 7:30, and will be
for the purpose of hearing the com-
mittee report and for the associa-
tion to. take final action in the
Cedar Hill tax matter as the com-
mittee may recommend, said
Clark.
He urged all members or pros-
pective members to attend.

The ordinance on public nui-
sances prohibits anything in the
city or within 5,000 feet of the city
limits which endangers the public
peace, property, health and safety
of Cedar Hill citizens. Penalty is
a fine of not more than $200, with
each hour of the existence of the
public nuisance constituting a sep-
arate offense.
The final ordinance passed Tues-
day night prohibits the destruction
of private or public property and
prescribes a penalty of a fine from
$10 to $200.
In other business the council met
with Fred Little who discussed
extension of water to his property
on Wintergreen Road and request-
ed that the city begin work im-
mediately on installation of the line
to his property. He also asked for
a ruling on erection of 40xl50-foot
chicken house on the back of one
of his two lots. The Council in-
formed him that there would be no
objection providing the residents
in the area did not object.
They heard a report that the
city secretary, Fred Nafus, has
been bonded for the amount of
$2,000 The secretary was instructed
to bind the city ordinances in a
separate folder ?nd to prepare a
letter outlining the requirements
for a city judge.
The Council voted to buy some
new pipe from the Haswell bro-
thers, developers, at 41c a foot,
and to erect a street sign at the
intersection of Belt Line and
Merrifield.
