Next project . . .
Before the Tales 'N' Trails Museum can begin his next major project, a barn raising, it first had to have a barn decon-
struction, Saturday workers reported the tin roof from an old barn donated by the Benton Whiteside Ranch which
contained trusses from the old military prison located at Gainesville during World War II. The museum plans to build
a large barn as the centerpiece, and to house its buggies, wagons, and farm implements for its agriculture exhibit. If
you would like to help with this project, or have items that would pertain to agriculture's rich history in this area,
contact the museum at 1522 E. U.S. Hwy. 82 in Nocona, or call (940) 825-5330 Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to
4 p.m.

AlzheimerAssociation hosts Knowing
signs to memory loss9 event July 12th
WICHITA FALLS —
There is much confusion
about memory loss in senior
adults. When is memory
loss a concern? Is it a nor-
mal part of the aging
process? What resources are
available to families strug-
gling with dementia? The
Alzheimer's Association-
North Central Texas Chapter
is presenting "Know the
Signs to Memory Loss" on
Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. at
the Alzheimer's Association
Regional Office located at
901 Indiana Street, Ste. 350,
Wichita Falls.
This free presentation
will help individuals recog-
nize memory loss warning
signs and learn about the
area resources available to
them.
The mission of the
Alzheimer's Association is
to eliminate Alzheimer's dis-
ease through the advance-
ment of research; to provide
and enhance care and sup-
port for all affected; and to
reduce the risk of dementia
through the promotion of
brain health.
