of modern industrial society. Each region is studied with regard to its
resources, industries, and commercial and social prospects.
HISTORY
303. English History. This is a study of prehistoric England. Norman
conquest, feudal period, the formation and growth of the constitution down
through the Tudors and the Stuarts.
304. English History. TJis is a specific study of the colonial expansion
of England during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
305. English History. This is a course which deals with the growth of
democracy in England during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. England's
part in the World War is also stressed.
