Grande—Semi-weekly Packet
—The owners of the steamer
LAUREL, have determined to run her as a
semi-weekly packet between the above ports,
leaving Matamoros every Monday and
Thursday, at 8 o'clock, A. M., and the Mouth
every Tuesday and Saturday, at 5 o'clock,
P. M. This arrangement is expected to ac-
commodate the citizens of Matamoros, as
well as shippers and travelers generally.—
Whether profitable or not to the proprietors,
no delay whatever, unless by unavoidable
accident, will be permitted to break up her
regular trips? and the public may rely upon
her punctuality.
Passage the same as Government Boats.
Freight at the lowest rates of other private
boats on the river. For freight or passage
apply to BODMAN & CLARK,

Mouth of Rio Grande.

Fire Arras," under certain restrictions—officers of the army are respectfully informed
