Friday night iu "Edgewood Folk's."
That Mr. Heywood is the pleasing
iand versatile comedian for which he
has the reputation ot being was fully
demonstrated Friday night.
The play is a pretty simple story of
domestic life interspersed with a touch
of pathos and brimful of fun. The
characters in 'jEdgewood Folk's" are
drawn with that care and naturalness
that abound in the "Old Homestead."
1t is these true life pictures that touch-

acter, Tom Dilloway" furnishes Mr.
Heywood ample scope to display his
wonderful versatility, as he assumes
five distict characters, each one en-
tirely different from the other, and in
each he buries himself.
The rapid changes he assumes shows
the wonderful swiftness and skill with
which he works when not entertain-
ing his audience. The longest time
given him for a complete change of
costume and make-up is six minutes,
and the shortest time is two minutes.

W.STUCKERT,
The Park committee have decided
to put out about 300 trees at the park,
principally forest trees. Some of them
suggested sweet-gum and tulip, but
the committee voted against it, de-
pending on the Mai-Fest for anything
in the sweet (gum) or "two-lip" line.
Home one suggested facetiously that
they should import water-trees that
aao said to grow in Mexico or South
America, that would furnish a good
supply of water for the park.
