week for her home in Tennessee.;

Spuing Hill, June 14. -If it

we farmers will have some good
pastures where we intended to

Harvesting is iu full blast.
Corn looks better than it has any
time during the season.
The Sunday school at Mustang
could be iu a more flourishing
condition than it is if tlie people
would only attend and make it so.
Cotton that was planted since
the hail, is looking very well.
Web worms are complained of
some.
Some youngsters from the
Spring Hill neighborhood have
gone to the New Hope neighbor-
hood to hear that class sing some,
so they say. Had we not better
organize a singing class at home
so these people would not have
to take such long trips.
Mr. Tulmore was at Spring
Hill Sunday evening and led tin-

LEWiSViLLE, June 16. — The
continuous rains are causing the
farmers to complain. The river
is bank-full, and several farms in
the bottom have been overflowed
and cotton drowned out. Wheat
will be damaged by sprouting.
A large amount of oats has not!
been reaped yet, and the grain is;
badly tangled. We have a beau- |
tiful crop of wheat and oats in
sight, but it may never be gar-
nered in good condition.
