Something New! Household Ammonia.
FOR TOILET AND HOUSEHOLD PURPOSES.
Household Ammonia is sold of the same strength as commercial ammonia water,
at less than halt the price, and is the cheapest cleaning material in the world. Used
according to directions, one tablespoonful is equal to one-third of a pound of the
best soap. When used with either hot or cold water it leaves the skin smooth and
soft, and does not injure the most delicate fabrics. All preparations of potash, soda
or lime roughen and irritate the skin and rapidly destroy clothes.
Household Ammonia in the laundry gives a snowy whiteness to plain goods, but
does not injure fast, colored fabrics. It saves all the'soda, half the soap, labor iind
time, and for many purpose replaces soap entirely. It restores all the original
brilliancy and lustre to old black silks, lacos and woolen goods, no mutter bow much
soiled they may be.
