movement of wholesale beef
resulted in fairly narrow
fluctuations in cattle prices.
Broiler futures held steady
but eggs were under pres-
sure as inventories rose
slightly and traders expect
consumer resistance to re-
cord high w holesale prices.
Grains and oilseed prices
drifted lower in very light
trading. Export movement
was good for corn and soy-
beans w hilc w heat shipments
remained light reflecting
abundant world availabili-
ties.
Copper futures advanced
with an upward revision in

CAUSE OF DEATH-
CHOKING!
It happens and it happens often. But. now a
physician has developed some new techniques that
have proven successful in aiding a choking victim. It
involves a very simple procedure.
Roth hands are used. Erorn behind vou grasp your
fist with your other hand and press it with quick
upward thrust against the sictim's abdomen just above
the naval and below the rib cage. Or. kneeling in front,
with one hand on top of the other, press the heel of the
bottom hand against the abdomen and thrust upward.

additional chart selling. Fur-
ther producer price hikes
carried the coffee market to
new highs. While sugar
weakened as burdensome
supplies prompted additional
cheap offerings. Cocoa turn-
ed reactionary because trad-
ers are concerned that the
high prices resulting from
another small west afriean
crip will restrict chocolate
consumption.
Continued mild weather in
Florida induced heavy long
liquidation in FCOJ futures.
Maine potato futures declin-
ed after the USDA stocks
report indicated poorer than
expected disappearance for
the U. S. as a whole, even
though good export demand
was reflected in the North-
eastern statistics.
The Canadian dollar rall-
ied on short covering in a
relatively thin market. Cana-
dian borrowing in the U. S.
markets was also a support-
ive feature since increasing
funds are converted into
Canadian dollars thus in-
creasing the demand for that
