it is hardly likely the differences will ever

Labor has its place in the world and
its forces should be organized on sane

politcal parties.

What Labor Needs Is A Call
Back To The Old Paths
With this Labor Day in 1937 there
and measures are discussed freely in their
meetings, and those loyal to labor ideals
in their own ranks are opposed to many
of the men such meeting propose as can-
didates. Labor can’t be solidified in 'any
party as such ,and trying to do so will only
split the already divergent forces more.
Labor, unfortunately, will become a
disappearing movement under such men
as would try and sell it out for a mess
of pottage and who would use to their
own personal ends.
What this Labor day should do
would he to call the men back to the old
paths blazed in the early days of its move-
ment and keep it out of politics and let it
stand on its merits. Tt has plenty of merit
in the courts of reason.
