TENNIS 1941
A dozen promising aspirants reported to Coaches Hilary Moore and Earl
Rudder in the early part of the season. There were two senior lettermen and
several promising freshmen.
As usual, the players were selected by round-robin play. Each boy who
cared to make the team played matches against various opponents until the
top five players, Brownfield, Wharton, McClellan, Purnell and Smith, were
chosen.
The team participates in several tennis tournaments during the year in-
cluding a match with N. T. A. C., who gives the Plowboys stiff competition in
all phases of athletics.HILARY MOORE, Tennis Coach
