have arrived and are now installed.
These fixtures have been arriving
piece at a time since Biltingslv A
Wills purchased the store, but would
not be accepted until the outfit was
complete. The store is quite at-
tractive
U. S. Crowell was in from David-
son, Okla., last week visiting rela-
tives in the DeSoto community. He
called at the Herald office and ad-
vanced his subscription to Dec. 1921.
He says they are well pleased with
their new hone, but miss their old
friends. The death of a child in
their ^ome caused great sadness in
the family circle.
Mrs. Adah Sims, of 1910 Lamar
Street, Dellas, send check to extend
her subscription to the Herald, and
expresses good wishes far the suc-
cess of the paper. Mrs. Sims is just
recovering from an illness of several
weeks. We trust the spring wifi
givf her renewed health and
strength. '
.. Mrs. B. H. Fite, of Oklahoma,
came in-Wednesday of last week to
visit her father. J. D. Darby, at
Duncanville. Saturday and Sun-
day a family reunion and outing
were held on Mountain Greek. Mr.
and Mrs. J. A. Fite, of Lancaster,
joined the party mid enjoyed the
occasion. This week Mrs. Fite visit-
ed her son J. A., at Lancaster, leav-
ing for her home Wednesday.

Guests in the Hulbert home Sun-
day were: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Reavis
and daughters and aunt, Mrs. Lane,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Womack and
sons, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Womack-
and son and Dr. and Mrs. C. L.
Morey. Robert Womack will be re-
membered by many as for several
years a member of the Herald
force. With his brother he now
owns and operates a job printing
j office in Dallas.

Cisco this week to be with her
brother’s wife, Mrs. L. A. Beesley,
during the operation which was
performed Tuesday at St Pauls
Sanitarium. Mrs. Beesley is report-
