•Honor Pins Awarded To 21 At USO
Certificate Of Merit To Mrs. Mnaley
* Twenty one honor pins were awarded to USO volunteer
. workers. Wednesday evening at 9 o’clock at the USO club by
R. S. Manley, chairman of the USO’s committee of manage-
ment. A certificate of merit was presented Mrs. Sam Manley,
. y/ho completed 5,000 hours of work and was awarded a 6
star pin last year and continues to give more hours of service
to the club. Sixteen certificates of apfijication were also pre-

sented.
Included in the program was a
statement of the purpose of the
ceremony and introduction of Lar-
ry Rich S-lc by Mrs. Mildred
Campbell, assistant director oi
the club. Rich gave the service
man’s appreciation of the volun-
teers. Conrad Hansen, director
of the USO, spoke on the Import-
ance of \ olunteers In the club’s
program and introduced the mem-
bers of the club's committee of
management, after which, Manley
presented the pins.
