• A 22-foot pleasure craft was disabled in Aransas Pas Channel and was
lowed to the causeway bait stand by the Coast Guard

• Tbe Coast Guard towed a 15-foot pleasure craft into Woody’s
Manna after a was disabled next to the Port Aransas south jeuy
• A person an a tug boat suffered electric shock The Coast Guard assisted

south jetties The person was picked up by a civilian craft, transferred to
a Coast Guard boat and turned over to Port Aransas Poire Department for

Aug. 8
•At 1 30 am .depuuev assisted city units m invesugaung a possible hit and
run accident on the beach When the suspect vehicle was found in Anmsas
f**ss. deputies esc cried it back to Pert Aransas so the investigation could
be completed
• A barking dog under a house on Seventh Street caused sleepy residents
to call for help at 2 30 a m A deputy helped free the dog. whose chain was
hung up. from under the house
• The call of a fight on the beach at 9 p m resulted in a deputy charging
one young man with being a miner in possession

• Deputies responded at 1 30 a.m. lo a call about a Tight at a flats *ea
watering hole where they found one of the combatants had outstroding

• An intoxicated man was found lying in the middle of Trojan Street ne«
Avenue B at 4:30 a m Me was taken to jail where a safer sleeping space
was provided

parking lot of an off premises" location on Alister Street
• After stopping a traffic violator on the beach at 1D4? p m . a deputy
arrested two people on charges of no dnser's lieenac, minor in possess tor
and drug paraphernalia
