President for presentation of awards on graduation day.
Teachers desiring to give standardized tests may consult the file in the
stack roa for the same. Additional copies will be ordered, if necessary.
Faculty members are to suit hat sizes to the President for caps to be
rented for graduation day.
The President then presented the matter of possible exemption of superior
students from final examinations. After considerable discussion it was moved
and carried that we require all students to take the specified examinations
at the semester's end.
Various members of the faculty consulted their notes inscribed in the
margin of the oposed State Pan for the Accreditation of Elementary and
Secondary Sch ools. The discussion revealed that there were questions
regarding the following:
1. The meaning of the term "ccaimunity" and the relation of
all schools (including boarding schools) to the same.

2. The question of salaries since brothers, priests, and
nuns are involved in the Roman Catholic system. (p. 9)
3. The matter of having the constituency attend meetings
of the board. (p. 10)
4. The problem of having as a requirement teaching personnel
who are graduates of approved teacher training programs.

5. The limitation of three semester hours of graduate work
permitted teachers taking university work during the
school year. (p. 16)
The date for the next faculty meeting was set for Thursday, May 28, at
4:00 P. M. Staff members were advised to think of students who should be
advised not to return next year.
The President announced that enrolment possibilities for the coming school
year look very good.
In answer to a question placed to obtain information the President mentionedthat Record and Concordian editors were a ppointed by the Student Council.
